CAVE CREEK, Ariz. - Tamara J. Sage-Gutkowski, 44, Cave Creek, formerly of Monmouth, Ill., died Monday (April 17, 2006) in Cave Creek.

She was born April 8, 1962, in Monmouth, Ill., the daughter of Wayne and Virginia Wheetley Sage.

She married William James Gutkowski on May 11, 1991, in Lake Geneva, Wis.

Surviving are her husband; two sons, Justin Gutkowski and Bret Gutkowski, both of Cave Creek; her parents of Cameron, Ill.; a sister, Christine (and Craig) Robertson, Adairsville, Ga.; two brothers, Douglas (and Brenda) Sage, Cameron, Ill., and Daniel (and Sonia) Sage, Monmouth, Ill.; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandparents.

She attended schools in Cameron and Monmouth, and graduated from Warren High School in 1980. She received a bachelor of arts degree in finance from the University of Illinois, where she was a member of Alpha Xi Delta Sorority. She earned a master's degree from the University of Illinois, Chicago.

She was director of finance for Dial Corp. for 13 years and resided in Arizona for 14 years.

She was treasurer of her son's Cub Scout Den in Pack 224.

She was an Illini "Orange Crush" fan and Chicago Bears fan.

Funeral will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in Cameron Christian Church. No visitation or calling hours are planned. Burial will be in Silent Home Cemetery, Cameron. Turnbull Funeral Home, Monmouth, is in charge of local arrangements.

A memorial fund is being established for "Hospice."
